Highlights of the newsletter include an article on fall 1998 Story County bird observations contributed by Jim Dinsmore, highlights of the first thirty years of the Big Bluestem Audubon Society (formerly Ames Audubon Society) Part 3, a column "Observations from the Bluebird B&B" by Karl Jungbluth and Carmen Jungbluth in which they record bird and nature observations on the first day of the month, and the results from the Ames, Saylorville Lake, and Boone County Christmas Bird Counts. |
