The newsletter of the Big Bluestem Audubon Society (Ames, Iowa), Volume 21, Number 5, January 1987. Highlights of the newsletter include the results of the Story County Christmas Bird Count with forty-six species of birds seen and a total of 9767 birds counted as well as an article by Erik Munson detailing the observation of a Varied Thrush in Ames. Also included are instructions and a form to complete for the 1987 Winter Bird Feeder Survey. |
