The newsletter of the Big Bluestem Audubon Society (Ames, Iowa), Volume 27, Number 2, November 1991. Highlights of the newsletter include birding notes from central Iowa contributed by Maridel Jackson, information on upcoming Christmas Bird Counts, a report of October field trips to Ledges State Park and the Iowa Arboretum, and an appeal to society members to help in the effort to acquire the Ann Munn Heritage Woods thereby preserving forty acres of mature woodland. |
