Description The newsletter of the Big Bluestem Audubon Society (Ames, Iowa), Volume 28, Number 4, December 1992. Highlights of the newsletter include details on the upcoming Christmas Bird Counts, a report of a November field trip, an update on a road-widening proposal for Highway 65 that would destroy much of the Engeldinger Marsh and what society members can do to protect the wetland, and Ames Christmas Bird Count records which gives the number of counts each species was seen in the 20 years from 1971 to 1990 as well as the number of each species was found on the 1991 count.
