The newsletter of the Big Bluestem Audubon Society (Ames, Iowa), Volume 29, Number 5, January 1994. Highlights of the newsletter include a call for society members to write letters to Senators Grassely and Harkin urging them to oppose the "volunteer provision" in House Bill H.R. 1845 and asking them to support the use of volunteers to collect data for the National Biological Survey and the results of the 1993 Ames Christmas Bird Count. Also included is the 1994 Winter Bird Feeder Survey with instructions and a documentation form to complete. |
