Description The newsletter of the Big Bluestem Audubon Society (Ames, Iowa), Volume 29, Number 8, April 1994. Highlights of the newsletter include a listing of upcoming prairie events, information on the Iowa Ornithologists' Spring Meeting taking place in Ames on May 20-22, a report of a March field trip in which 38 species of birds and many waterfowl were observed, and a call for interested society members to help with surveys of shorebirds, herons, egrets, and Bald Eagles being conducted in various parts of the Saylorville area.
