Description A brochure prepared by the Ames Conservation Council that describes what comprises a prairie and lists the reasons the Ames High Schoool Prairie should be preserved for future generations of Ames students and citizens of all ages. Includes a seasonal list of plants as well as hypothetical lists of birds and mammals that may be found at the Ames High School Prairie.
