The documentation form by Bill Huser is the only one submitted and forms the basis of this record. Another observer was Shawn Pfautsch. | Elimination of similar species: Call note and appearance indicated a wren. White supercilliary eliminated House Wren and Winter Wren. Black cap eliminated those two plus Carolina and Bewick's Wren. The lack of crown streaking eliminated Sedge Wren. Habitat was a strong indicator of Marsh Wren and a detraction from all others except, perhaps, a Sedge Wren. | The original documentation form event occurred around 11:00:00. |
