Spring migration report contributed by Tim C. Moermond and Mike Orthel in a letter to Peter Petersen, May 28, 1963. The report mentions the sighting of a Red-Shafted/Yellow Shafted Flicker Hybrid. A feather of the bird are included with the letter. This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists’ Union Quarterly field report of spring 1963. |
