Description Letter from Dorothy Franek to Frances Braley, dated January 17, 1969, discussed birds identified on her property in Grant Township, Montgomery County, near Red Oak, Iowa, bird feeders created, and the need for help in identifying some birds and banding some in the spring. Included were lists of the birds seen and a description of the location including a map of the acreage. This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists’ Union Quarterly field report of winter 1968-1969.
