Description Audubon field notes for fall of 1969 written by Woodward H. Brown. Items underlined were that only one Red-shouldered Hawk was reported, and a late Golden Plover was noted. Asterisks were next to reports that there were large movements of Flickers, and a Nighthawk migration was observed. This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists’ Union Quarterly field report of fall 1969.
