Documentation of bird sightings including Audubon field notes for spring of 1970, a Woodward H. Brown letter, June 14, 1970, regarding the spring field report and two other letters included here that he was forwarding to Peter C. Petersen. One letter was from R.D. Mooney regarding the rare sighting of a Cattle Egret, June 6, 1970. The other letter was from Ruth Thornton regarding the sighting of a Chuck-will's-widow, April 26, 1970. These items were used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists’ Union Quarterly field report of spring 1970. |
