Darwin Koenig letter to Woodward H. Brown was regarding birds sighted in Rossville, Monona, and Castalia, Iowa, fall 1971. Woodward Brown underlined and noted in red "Only report for this season" for a flock of 50 Pine Siskins along with 50 Redpolls seen at Castalia. This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists’ Union Quarterly field report of fall 1971. |
