Description Field notes from Woodward H. Brown compiled information on birds observed in Iowa during summer season 1971. Some parts were marked in red, and these bird names were circled in red: White Pelican, Pintail, Least Tern, Chuck-Will's Widow, and Summer Tanager. It was preceded by a cover letter from Woodward H. Brown to Vernon M. Kleen, August 14, 1971. This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists’ Union Quarterly field report of summer 1971.
