Report from Gladys Black regarding birds sighted at Red Rock Lake and the Red Rock Refuge during the spring of 1973. Much of her report was about nesting failures of Great Blue Herons and investigation into whether this was caused by pesticides. This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists’ Union Quarterly field report of spring 1973. |
