Description Letters from Gladys Black to Vernon Kleen regarding the fall migration and the nesting season of 1974 in the Lake Red Rock area. The letters discuss the impact of flooding from new dams on wildlife in central Iowa, a report from Dean Mosman about a bird kill at a TV tower near Alleman, Iowa, the nesting season, and the fall migration. These items were used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists’ Union Quarterly field report of fall 1974.
