Description |
Nicholas S. Halmi letter to Vernon M. Kleen regarding birds sighted around Iowa City during summer 1974. Halmi described wet summer weather conditions and seeing a Henslow's Sparrow, a Yellow-headed Blackbird, and Buff-breasted Sandpipers. He noted shorebirds began migration early, on July 21. This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists’ Union Quarterly field report of summer 1974. |
