Letter from Nicholas S. Halmi to Vernon M. Kleen reporting birds sighted in the Iowa City area during the 1973-1974 winter season. Halmi describes interactions between hawks and owls, the amount of various species present, and birds seen during the Christmas Bird Count (CBC). This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists’ Union Quarterly field report of winter 1973-1974. |
