Gladys Black letter to Vernon M. Kleen was regarding birds sighted during breeding season 1975, August 5, 1975. She covered sightings in other parts of Iowa in addition to Pleasantville, Iowa. She expressed concern about the impact of TV towers on bird kills, and recommended that Kleen contact Dean Mosman for more information. This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists’ Union Quarterly field report of summer 1975. |
