Description Letter from Fred Lesher to Vernon M. Kleen regarding bird sightings, February 8, 1979. The sightings were made at Yellow River State Forest and Effigy Mounds National Monument. A note mentions that the Cooper's Hawk seen at Yellow River State Forest may have been a Sharp-shinned Hawk. This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists Union Quarterly field report of fall, 1978.
