Description Field report for the fall of 1978, submitted by Dick Bierman. A note mentions the sighting of Swainson Hawk young, that were apparently killed in strong winds and hail. This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists' Union Quarterly field report of fall 1978.
