Iowa Christmas bird count summary for 1978. The report summarizes the sightings for the year of many different species of birds. Also of note was the record numbers of reporting localities (34) and observers (556) for the year, best birds, notable misses and population comments. This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists’ Union Quarterly field report of winter 1978-1979. |
