Field notes for summer 1979 contributed by Carl Priebe in a letter to Richard Bishop, July 27, 1979. In the letter Carl Priebe describes his discovery of a colony of nesting Black-crowned Night Herons it also includes the bird habitat.This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists Union Quarterly field report of fall, 1979. |
