Description Audubon field notes were contributed by Woodward H. Brown. He reports declines in a number of species and no sightings of Red-breasted Nuthatches, Bohemian Waxwings, Snowy Owls, Redpoll, Crossbills, or Grosbeaks. This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists’ Union Quarterly field report of winter, 1964-1965.
