Occurrence Remarks The documentation form by Stephen J. Dinsmore is the earliest and the one that forms the basis of this record. | Elimination of similar species: My only concern was to adequately eliminate Double-crested Cormorant, many of which were available for direct comparisons. The size, tail length, and throat patch pattern all eliminate this species. | The original documentation form event lasted from 14:25:00/15:50:00.
Occurrence Status present
Field Number 1996-10
Event Remarks Viewing conditions were very good with overcast skies. Estimated viewing distance was >500m initially, but I later approached to within 100m. I used 10x42 binoculars and a 20-60x spotting scope.
