Field notes contributed by Douglas C. Harr, Larchwood, Iowa, February 28, 1984, covered winter 1983-1984. A Prairie Chicken was documented west of Ocheyedan by Ron Spengler. Observers of other birds in Lyon County, Dickinson County and Sioux County were Bill Fribley, Gary Wee, and LaVonte Foote. This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists’ Union Quarterly field report of winter 1983-1984. |
