Description Field notes contributed by Dick Bierman, Cherokee, Iowa, spring 1984. He noted a Snowy Egret was documented with James E. Huber. The species seen the most times was Swainson's Hawk, near Cherokee and in Osceola County. This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists’ Union Quarterly field report of spring 1984.
