Description Field notes were contributed by Ruth Phipps, Shenandoah, Iowa, spring 1984. Other observers of some of the 16 species reported were Don Preibe, Jean B. Braley, Marie Spears and Marilyn Phipps. A Barrow's Goldeneye was seen at Forneys twice, and a Blue Grosbeak was seen west of Shenandoah. This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists’ Union Quarterly field report of spring 1984.
