W. Ross Silcock letter to Thomas H. Kent was regarding sightings at Folsom Lake Heronry, July 6, 1984. He saw Little Blue Herons, a Yellow-crowned Night Heron, and Cattle Egrets. There were some Lesser Yellowlegs nearby. He also saw nests while canoeing with the Padelfords on July 1. This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists’ Union Quarterly field report of summer 1984. |
