Description Field notes were contributed by Marion M. Brewer, Cherokee, Iowa, summer 1984. Eighteen species of birds were mentioned. Loggerhead Shrikes and Blue Grosbeaks were probable nesters, but Bluebird and Tree Swallow nests failed. This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists’ Union Quarterly field report of summer 1984.
