| Description |
Field notes were contributed by Babs and Loren Padelford on Iowa birds sighted, June-July 1984, with two other observers. Of 28 species sighted, Piping Plovers in Pottawattamie County had young and a Mockingbird had a nest near Sidney. A Yellow-breasted Chat was heard singing and the characteristics of a Buff-breasted Sandpiper were observed in detail in Fremont County. This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists’ Union Quarterly field report of summer 1984. |
