Other observers include Sandy Kovanda and Babs Padelford. | Elimination of similar species: These bird were determined to be Greater rather than Lesser Scaup on the following characteristics: Rounded heads with large, very broad bills. Pure white sides and pale gray backs. Almost size of Mallards. |
