Rose. | Elimination of similar species: Other scoters eliminated by uniform dark wing, large bill, two white spots on cheek, and white path on back of head. | The original documentation form event lasted from 15:30:00/16:00:00.

Event Remarks Viewing Conditions: Light was excellent with cloudy sky and no bright sunlight. Estimated viewing distance as close as 30 feet. I used Nikon 8x23 Binoculars and a B+L spotting scope.
