Occurrence Remarks |
The documentation form by Carl J. Bendorf is the only one submitted and forms the basis of this record. | Elimination of similar species: The female Ruddy Duck has a pointed tail and a light cheek patch, but the cheek patch in the Ruddy does not extend above the eye. | The original documentation form event lasted from 12:30:00/13:00:00. |

Event Remarks |
Viewing Conditions: Light was not the best. Sun was bright and off to my right, gave some backlighting to bird. Bird was viewed with 20x scope as it floated to within 20 yards. Because of the close proximity to bird, overall viewing conditions were good. |
