Uniform grayish grown upper parts would resemble Merlin, not Kestrel. | The original documentation form event lasted from 17:45:00/17:45:30.

Event Remarks Viewing Conditions: Bird +- 50 yards away flying south. I was on the dike + it was over the water, only about 5' high. Saw it about 30 seconds. 5:45 pm. 8.5 x Binoculars. I had decided to look for Merlins earlier this fall since they are only Kestrel-size.
