The documentation form by Steve Dinsmore is the only one submitted and forms the basis of this record. Other observers include Barney Cook, Mike Nolan, and Steve Richards. | Elimination of similar species: Merlin - smaller size, no hood, more slender appearance. Prairie Falcon - no hood, brown back, top of wings, tail. Coopers + Sharp-shinned Hawks - barring on breast, broader wings and feathered tips of wings. Also, lighter back and tops of wings. | The original documentation form event lasted from 11:30:00/11:35:00. |

Viewing Conditions: partly cloudy day - front just moved through - lighting was average. Bird was about 100 yards away distance was measured by walking back to trees which it flew over - viewed through Bushnell Scope 20x and Bushnell 7 x 35 binoculars. |
