The first Mockingbird nest ever found in Polk County, June 25, 1929. The nest was built in a wild grape vine on the Ed R. Fiske farm, located southwest of Des Moines. Photograph originally titled "Nest of Mockingbirds." Rosene provides details on back of photograph. |
