Description |
An Indigo Bunting nest containing a newly hatched chick, an Indigo bunting egg, and a Cowbird egg, July 19, 1927. The nest was located in a second growth hard maple less than two feet from the ground, in timber east of Pilot Mound. Slide originally titled "Indigo Bunting–2 Eggs and 1 Cowbird." The lantern slide is hand-colored. Rosene provides details on photograph. |
