Emails from Douglas C. Harr to James J. Dinsmore and the IA-BIRD mailing list regarding summer bird sightings, August 1 and August 8, 2000. Three emails from Harr to Dinsmore discuss the observations of a Spotted Towhee, a Burrowing Owl and a late Osprey nest. The email from Harr to the IA-BIRD mailing list verifies the Burrowing Owl report near Rock Rapids. This item was used as supporting documentation for the Iowa Ornithologists' Union Quarterly field report of summer 2000. |
