Other observers include Carl Bendorf, Carol Thompson, and others. | Elimination of similar species: Bonaparte's [handwritten note - 'neither is Franklins!] not hooded at this time of year and has lighter wing with white leading edge. In the last several years, Franklin's Gulls in alternate plumage have been recorded in the midwest in winter. | The original documentation form event lasted from 13:30:00/13:45:00 estimate.
