Description Account of a sighting of and interaction with a Red-shafted and Yellow-shafted Flicker hybrid at Larchwood in Lyon County, IA in early December 1980. The flicker was first seen at a bird feeder before passing while attempting rehabilitation in captivity and being given as a specimen to Iowa State University.
