Description |
An essay written by Walter Rosene detailing a trip to Allamakee County to view and photograph a pair of Duck Hawks (Peregrine Falcons) that were nesting in a cavity on the face of a rocky cliff towering Mississippi River. Rosene conveys the process of locating the nest, as well as the equipment and measures necessary to photograph four young Duck Hawks found in the nest cavity. |
