Occurrence Remarks |
The documentation form by Ruth E. Goellner and Karl E. Goellner is the only one submitted and forms the basis of this record. | Elimination of similar species: Sutton's (hybrid) warbler eliminated by the bright white area from terminus of eyestripe [sic] down to the striped sides. No other species comes close to these patterns. "Sexes similar" Peterson says; this one was so brightly colored and patterned that we felt it could look like this in breeding season- like a breeding male! | The original documentation form event lasted from around 11:50:00/12:00:00. |

Event Remarks |
Viewing Conditions: overcast, light rain, temp. about 50 degrees F. Two pairs 8x40 binocs. [...] 6 feet from bay window; 30 feet from patio door. [...] With 8x binocs, at 6 feet and 30 feet, we had good vision, despite light rain falling and overcast. The bird was not hidden in foliage but sat and flitted in clearly visible places. Total observation about 10 minutes. |
