| Description |
Summary of the Iowa Birdline update for September 15-November 15, 1997. Highlights of the update include a sighting of a large flock of Lark Buntings in September and a continued presence of Eurasian Collared Doves throughout the fall. Other interesting observations of note were a Pacific Loon sighting in October, several unusual gull reports in October and November, and a late Ruby-throated Hummingbird spotted at a feeder in November. |
