| Description |
Summary of the Iowa Birdline update for March 15-June 15, 1996. Highlights of an outstanding spring season for rarities include sightings of Mountain Bluebirds, a Townsend's Solitaire and five Cinnamon Teal reports in March. Other interesting observations of note were April sightings of a Ruff, a Fish Crow, Chestnut-collared Longspurs, and an unusually large number of White Faced Ibis. A sighting of Lazuli Buntings as well as a second state record of two Glossy Ibis were reported in May and a MacGillivray's Warbler was spotted in June. |
