| Description |
Summary of the Iowa Birdline update for June 15-September 15, 1995. Highlights of the update include the sightings of several summer nesters in June and July, including Prairie Warblers, Mississippi Kites, and Bewick's Wrens. Unusual observations of shorebirds were noted in July and August, and the majority of September sightings were of several species of Gulls. Also of note in September was a first record for the state with the discovery of a juvenile White Ibis. |
