Description |
Notes for the Iowa Birdline update for October 24, 1988. Highlights of the update include sightings of a Pacific Loon, a Red-shouldered Hawk, a Red-tailed Hawk, Purple Finches, and several species of Gulls. Also of note were the large numbers of waterfowl observed, including ten species of Ducks, Canada Geese, and Tundra Swans. In addition, a first winter Little Gull was spotted at Saylorville Lake. |
