Description Notes for the Iowa Birdline update for July 9, 1990. Highlights of the update include a sighting of a Long-billed Curlew which was only seen for around one hour and two additional reports of Common Loons summering in the state. Also of note were observations of a Cattle Egret, a Swainson's Hawk, Willets, Solitary Sandpipers, and Northern Mockingbirds.
