Description Notes for the Iowa Birdline update for March 19, 1990. Highlights of the update include sightings of an Evening Grosbeak, 20 Purple Finches, 60 Fox Sparrows, and a flock of 100 Smith's Longspurs. Also of note were reports of many species of Ducks, including a Black Duck as well as sightings of an estimated 10,000 Ring-billed Gulls and 10,000 Snow Geese.
