Description Notes for the Iowa Birdline update for February 12, 1990. Highlights of the update include numerous reports of Ducks and Gulls returning to the state including Hooded Mergansers, Bufflehead, Ring-billed Gulls, Herring Gulls, and a Glaucous Gull. Also of note were unusual February sightings of a Franklin's Gull and a Killdeer.
